Meet the Team
Relax Property Mangement has dedicated people that are diverse in their skills and talents. Many of our employees personally own rental properties and work closely with investors on a daily basis. We have a list of wholesalers that give our clients the opportunity to be first in line when investment opportunities arise.
We are active members in REIA and NARPM, which keeps us up to date on the latest trends and issues regarding property management and real estate investing. Our broker/owner, Miranda Platt, is the current President Elect of the local National Association of Property Managers chapter.

Miranda Platt
Owner & Broker
Miranda Platt is a Sarasota native with deep roots in the local real estate market and a true passion for the industry. She started her career in 2011 and quickly knew this was her long-term path, earning her license at just 21 years old and jumping in full force.
As the first team member of Relax Realty Group, Miranda helped build the company from the ground up—working side-by-side with Jill Lyons & Marc Pelletz. She played a key role in shaping the systems, relationships, and reputation the company is known for today.
Now as Broker and Owner of Relax Property Group and Relax Property Management, Miranda leads with energy, clarity, and a strong team-first mindset. She believes in leading by example and creating a natural flow between work and life, allowing both her team and clients to operate at a high level without burnout. Her leadership style is hands-on, positive, and driven—she’s always moving, always improving, and always pushing the business forward.
Miranda specializes in working with real estate investors, managing hundreds of properties over the years while helping clients grow and protect their portfolios. As an investor herself, she understands the numbers, the risks, and the long-term vision—treating every property as if it were her own.
Together, Miranda and Alex form a well-balanced team—combining operations, technology, strategy, and client experience to deliver a high-level, modern approach to property management. Their shared vision is simple: keep it efficient, keep it transparent, and keep it moving forward.

Alexander Platt
Operations Manager
Alexander is a true Sarasota native—something increasingly rare—and brings a deep, firsthand understanding of the area’s growth and evolution. Having watched the region transform over the years, he offers clients valuable local insight that goes beyond the surface. Known for his upbeat attitude and solutions-oriented mindset, Alex is always ready to take on new challenges and find a way to get things done.
A graduate of Manatee Technical Institute, Alex combines technical training with real-world experience to drive innovation within the company. He plays a key role in streamlining operations, modernizing systems, and implementing technology that enhances efficiency for both clients and the team. From automating outdated processes to optimizing workflows, Alex consistently looks for smarter ways to operate.
Before transitioning into real estate, Alex spent over 15 years in the wireless communications industry, where he developed a strong foundation in sales, customer service, and relationship building. His passion for real estate began early—purchasing his first investment property in 2012—and has continued to grow as he expands his portfolio and expertise.
Alex works alongside his wife, Miranda Platt, Broker/Owner of Relax Property Group, creating a dynamic partnership that blends business and family life. Together, they’ve built a company centered around service, innovation, and a commitment to their clients.
In addition to real estate, Alex has a passion for aerial photography and is a certified FAA remote pilot. His drone expertise provides unique marketing advantages and valuable perspectives for clients. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, kayaking, and relaxing at Florida’s beautiful beaches.

Holly Nikolich
CFO & Corporate Council
Holly M. Nikolich is the CFO of Relax Property Group, LLC and is also Managing Partner of Pinnacle Law Group, P.A., where she focuses her practice on real estate, corporate, landlord-tenant, and property management law throughout Florida. With more than 20 years of legal experience, Ms. Nikolich has served as corporate counsel for multiple professional property management companies, advising on a broad range of operational, transactional, compliance, and litigation-related matters affecting residential and commercial portfolios.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Nikolich has represented property owners, investors, developers, landlords, property management companies, and business entities in matters involving leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, vendor and management agreements, fair housing compliance, risk management, collections, evictions, corporate structuring, and complex real estate transactions. Her practical understanding of the property management industry allows her to provide strategic legal guidance that balances legal protection with operational efficiency.
Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001, Ms. Nikolich also has extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate closings, title insurance, business and corporate law, asset protection, estate planning, probate administration, and foreign investment in U.S. real estate. She regularly advises clients on sophisticated real estate ventures, financing structures, and long-term investment strategies.
Raised in Englewood, Florida, and a longtime Sarasota resident, Ms. Nikolich earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida and her Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida. She is recognized for her responsive counsel, practical problem-solving approach, and deep understanding of the Florida real estate and property management industries.

Joleisy Machado
Property Management Specialist & Investment Advisor
With nearly a decade of real estate experience, Joleisy offers a unique, 360-degree perspective on the Sarasota market. Her journey into the industry is a testament to her character: she began as a tenant of Relax Realty Group, where her professionalism and integrity caught the eye of founder Jill Lyons. That “gut feeling” sparked the formation of a dedicated core team whose shared vision and relentless work ethic turned a small local agency into a market mainstay.
Joleisy specializes in the full lifecycle of real estate investment—assisting clients with managing and buying properties. She bridges the gap between vision and execution, ensuring every process is streamlined and every client is guided confidently to the finish line.

Leslie Cornell Anders
Property Management Specialist
Leslie Cornell Anders is a seasoned hospitality and real estate professional with over 20 years of experience in luxury service, property management, and vacation rentals along Florida’s Gulf Coast. Originally from New England, Leslie relocated to Sarasota in 2005 and has since built a reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maximizing property performance for homeowners and investors alike.
Leslie spent over a decade as a Membership Executive at the The Ritz-Carlton Members Club, where she played a key role in launching and marketing the Beach Club, Spa Club, and Golf Club to an affluent clientele. Her foundation in world-class hospitality, combined with her experience working with leading vacation rental companies such as Vacasa and TurnKey Vacation Rentals, gives her a unique ability to blend elevated guest service with strategic property management.
As the founder of Just Relax Host LLC and a licensed real estate professional with Relax Realty Group, Leslie specializes in helping homeowners and investors successfully navigate the short-term rental market across Sarasota, Manatee, and Pinellas counties. She offers full-service management, including marketing, pricing strategy, vendor coordination, and compliance—ensuring each property operates efficiently while delivering strong returns.
In 2025, Leslie expanded her expertise to include long-term property management as a Property Manager with Relax Property Management, further strengthening her ability to support clients across both short-term and long-term rental strategies.
Leslie is also the founder of STR Care, a professional cleaning company specializing in short-term rental turnovers, long-term rental cleans, and real estate cleaning services. With a strong emphasis on consistency, presentation, and hospitality-level standards, STR Care plays a critical role in ensuring properties are guest-ready and maintained to the highest level.
Known for her transparency, professionalism, and attention to detail, Leslie is passionate about creating seamless experiences for both guests and property owners—allowing them to simply relax.

Mauricio Sanfilippo
Maintenance Coordinator
Born and raised in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Mauricio brings a strong work ethic, dedication, and hospitality-driven mindset to the real estate industry. He began his journey with Relax Realty Group in 2022 and quickly developed a passion for the fast-paced world of property management and maintenance coordination. He enjoys the problem-solving aspect of the industry and takes pride in helping properties, owners, and tenants operate smoothly.
Coming from a family of restaurant owners and having spent years as an entrepreneur himself, Mauricio understands the importance of customer service, communication, and building lasting relationships. Before entering real estate, he owned and operated both a tortilla factory and a motorcycle parts business while also working as a university professor for over 10 years. Balancing multiple responsibilities throughout his career taught him discipline, organization, adaptability, and the importance of always continuing to learn and grow.
As a full-time Maintenance Coordinator, Mauricio works closely with owners, tenants, and vendors to ensure every project and repair is handled efficiently and professionally. From coordinating maintenance requests and inspections to handling emergencies and scheduling vendors, he enjoys finding solutions and helping keep operations running seamlessly. He prides himself on being highly responsible, organized, and proactive, while always keeping all parties informed throughout the process. He believes communication and reliability are some of the most important parts of providing excellent service and creating positive experiences for clients and residents alike.
In addition to his professional experience, Mauricio also has firsthand knowledge as a property owner and investor through his rental apartment in the Riviera Maya. This personal experience gives him an even greater understanding of the importance of protecting investments and maintaining properties with care and attention to detail.
When he is not coordinating maintenance projects, Mauricio enjoys going to the gym, training Muay Thai, reading, and continuously learning new things. Most of all, he values spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and their dogs and cats.

Teddy Barrameda
Property Management Assistant
Teddy Barrameda serves as a Property Management Assistant for Relax Property Management and the STR Hospitality Operations Manager for Just Relax Host LLC. In these roles, he oversees the operational synergy between long-term and short-term rental portfolios, ensuring seamless day-to-day processes for owners, tenants, and guests alike.
Teddy’s professional background spans Customer Service, Learning & Development (Process Training), and Real Estate Transaction Coordination. This diverse experience informs his systematic approach to property management, which prioritizes clear communication, operational efficiency, and meticulous attention to detail. His expertise in training allows him to implement structured systems, while his real estate foundation ensures a comprehensive understanding of documentation and regulatory compliance.
Currently, Teddy manages guest and tenant relations, coordinates maintenance and vendor logistics, and supports leasing and booking operations. Known for being a dependable and solution-oriented professional, he is dedicated to maintaining high performance standards for property owners while delivering a consistent, high-quality experience for every resident and guest.

Ana Esponda
Maintenance Coordinator Assistant
Growing up in Chiapas, Mexico, real estate and property management were always part of her life. Coming from a family with rental properties, she was introduced to the industry at a young age and naturally developed an interest in how properties are built, managed, and improved over time. Her parents later gifted her first property, which she and her husband converted into a multifamily investment — an experience that deepened her passion for the business. Alongside her brother, she has also helped develop additional multifamily properties, continuing to grow her hands-on experience as both an owner and investor.
She later joined Relax Realty Group as a Maintenance Coordinator, where she has expanded her knowledge of the industry through a wider range of perspectives and day-to-day problem solving. She enjoys that no two days are ever the same and values the constant opportunity to learn, grow, and gain experience. For her, experience is one of the most valuable things a career can offer.
Known for being creative, kind, and self-driven, she takes pride in building positive relationships with tenants, vendors, property managers, and everyone involved in the communication process. She believes that treating people well and staying solution-oriented makes all the difference in property management.
When she’s not coordinating maintenance or managing projects, she’s probably at the gym — proudly embracing her “gym rat” era — watching movies, or spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and pets. One of her long-term dreams is to travel across Europe with her family in a camper van, exploring places like Italy and Iceland with no fixed destination, just the excitement of discovering new places together.
