We ended up on the phone with Jill, who spent about half-an-hour educating us about the specific rules for short term (7-day) and longer term (30 day) rentals in Sarasota proper versus Manatee County. Basically Jill kept us from making a $300,000 mistake- buying a property that would not be a good fit for our investment portfolio, and guided us to the TYPE of property that would.Ultimately (independent of Jill) we found and bought a property that met her recommendations. Coincidentally it is beside two others she manages.Based on our extremely positive initial interaction with her we have hired her to manage our properties. There was an issue at my unit and I called her after hours to notify her of the problem. The next business day my phone rang while I was at work and it was the maintenance man letting me know he was on his way to have a look at the problem. He worked around my availability and was on time, friendly, and solved the issue in less then an hour! I am very happy with my place, and how I've been treated by Joleisy and Relax Realty.
