Jill has been in real estate for over 16 years as an agent, broker, and investor. She has been living in the Sarasota area since 1976.
Upon graduation from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she earned a chemical engineering degree, she worked in the petroleum industry for years, moving back to Sarasota in 1996 to avoid the cold winters she didn’t like. She found that there are few chemical engineers employed in the Sarasota/Manatee area, so she reinvented herself in the real estate industry. She found her calling working with real estate investors. Her systematic approach to property management is a direct result of her engineering background. It is all just a numbers game, which she approaches with client profit maximization in mind.
Her main focus in any transaction is putting the customer first. She attributes her success to the combination of knowledge, expertise, honesty, and integrity, and believes communication is a key element to every experience.
Her ability to be a trusted guide throughout the real estate investment process has led to many delighted clients who happily refer their friends and family to her. Her expertise as a property manager and investor has helped her clients get their money to work for them in the market. In a buyer’s or seller’s market, real estate has proven to be a sound long-term investment, and Sarasota is a desirable marketplace.
During her leisure time, Jill enjoys playing tennis and spending any time outdoors. Her greatest accomplishment is her son, Ryan, who is currently having the time of his life spending all her rental income in college up in Chicago. Hopefully not for much longer!

Marc Pelletz is Jill Lyons’ partner in Relax Realty Group. He has a large investment portfolio and has flipped hundreds of properties in the last five years. He has over 28 years of real estate investment experience and actively enjoys mentoring young, hungry new investors. He is a valuable asset for clients and offers his extensive experience to them.

Miranda is a Manatee County native and has lived in Sarasota since 2001. She joined the real estate world in 2011 as an administrative assistant at Overseas Realty. Quickly falling in love with this industry, she decided to get licensed at just 21 years old. A great opportunity awaited with a new brokerage at Relax Realty Group.
Miranda graduated from the State College of Florida, where she obtained an Associate’s Degree in art. During her college years, she was employed with Outback Steakhouse steadily for six years, starting at age 15. Because she enjoys staying busy, she always worked two jobs and understood the importance of commitment at an early age. She learned hard work pays off and found success by setting goals and managing time.
Miranda is a full-time property manager specializing in helping investors to expand their portfolios and maximize profits. She has first-hand experience as a homeowner and investor and treats all of her client’s properties as her own. Managing hundreds of homes over the years, she has gained the knowledge to excel in her career. She believes relationships are the most important thing in business, and constantly interacts with new people on a daily basis while nourishing current relationships already in her life.
When Miranda is not working magic with investors or clients, she enjoys the outdoors, kayaking, or simply spending quality time with family and friends. Her dream is to achieve personal growth and expand her investment portfolio so she can travel the world.

Joleisy Machado was born in Louisiana and raised in the small town of Scranton, Pennsylvania. In 1998, her family decided to make a move to the Sunshine State. She attended Sarasota High School, where she fell in love with Florida life. After she graduated, she discovered that she enjoyed the competitiveness of sales and, at 19 years old, she took on a management position for the cosmetic and skincare line, Biotherm. After just a few months, she was able to raise her store’s ranking to the top three in the company.
Joleisy also took on a position as an office manager in the dental field for five years. During this time, she was able to fortify her leadership skills and learned that she loved interacting with people. Later, she decided to pursue real estate, where she was able to interact with clients and incorporate her knowledge of sales. Becoming a part of Relax Realty Group allowed her to start managing properties as well as selling homes. She soon came to see that real estate is her passion. By communicating and creating strong, honest relationships with her clients, she makes the process of buying a home the best experience possible.
If you ever see Joleisy out and about, she is most likely on her way to show a property. When she isn’t, she is trying a new recipe at home or reading one of her favorite books. She is very family-oriented and enjoys spending most of her free time with her children.
Brent Karweck
Brent Karweck became part of the Relax Realty group in 2015 and specializes in property management. In addition to being a licensed real estate agent, he is in the process of becoming a certified licensed Florida contractor.
Brent’s career began as a carpenter in PA, and through the years, he has acquired experience in every aspect of home construction. Since 2000, he’s been owner and operator of BNT Building & Remodeling, LLC (formerly known as BNT Home Solutions) in the Bradenton/Sarasota/Venice area, doing major home renovations. Because Brent has always required superior workmanship from his employees and exhibited honesty, reliability, and attention to detail, BNT has become a very successful business venture.
As a real estate agent, Brent uses his vast knowledge of construction and property values to help his clients maximize their investment opportunities. With integrity and trustworthiness, he can provide knowledgeable advice and direction to help clients navigate through market trends and long-term investments goals. His commitment is to listen to his clients’ needs and wants and provide a pleasant experience as he handles each real estate transaction as if it were his own.
Brent resides in Sarasota with his wife, Tracy, who manages residential cleaning and home watching services provided by BNT. They have two sons, two daughters, and one grandchild. In his leisure time, he enjoys boating, fishing, scuba diving, camping, woodworking, and spending time with family.
Dane Peterson
Dane Peterson, originally from San Antonio, TX, has spent the past 17 years in Florida between the east and west coasts. He is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and advertising.
A career in finance brought Dane to Sarasota in 2011 and, after getting married in 2013, Dane and his wife’s love for Sarasota motivated them to purchase their first home here. That home, along with the desire to help others achieve their home ownership goals, is what brought Dane to Relax Realty Group for a full-time career in real estate. Dane’s attention to detail and desire to provide the type of customer service that he expects has led to great rapport and relationships with past and present clients.
When not submerged in real estate, Dane can be found traveling with his wife, spending time on Lido Beach, or playing with his pets. He also enjoys tennis and working out at the gym to stay in shape both mentally and physically. Self-development through reading and as a real estate mentor keeps Dane ahead of his game in his career.
